Trail Maintenance Project
Our Baby! The Payette Lake Trail
The Payette Lake Trail has received crucial upgrades!
MCC youth crews tackled heavy maintenance across two sections, rebuilding rock armor, clearing loose material, and adding crushed rock and dirt to restore the lower trail to near-original condition.
On the West Side PLT, they improved a rock garden by cribbing and raising the tread, creating a smoother, more durable surface. These enhancements ensure the trail is ready for riders to enjoy the stunning views of Payette Lake!
