About Turquoise Trail

The Turquoise Trail is one mile of pristine trails framed by the grandeur of Colorado’s towering peaks. In a partnership that showcases the spirit of collaboration, OTM and the Rocky Mountain Youth Corps joined forces to construct these directional trails, weaving through the landscape and bringing new life to Lake County. Amidst the haze of smoke and the glare of the sun, the crews laid down 4000 feet of new trail, creating not just pathways, but also memories of nature’s small wonders, from strawberries along the path to wildlife encounters.
